Site Management
Managing software and hardware in a chain of stores
Perspectiv Site Management provides centralized control over software and hardware deployed across hundreds or even thousands of stores and points of sale. In addition to managing software updates, PSM enables comprehensive management of application configurations, screen layouts, product image trees, user accounts and other essential data.

Store list management
After installing the software in the store and setting the store parameters, the PSM agent sends the store data to the PSM server, which causes the store to be assigned to appropriate groups and automatic distribution of data intended for that store. The software on the POSes installed in the store and its configuration parameters are also updated automatically.

Software version management
The PSM system enables continuous, automated inventory of software installed on cash registers and back-office computers, as well as fast and secure software updates. Key features include:
inventory of application versions and registration of installation packages, including version change history,
ability to target specific stores, store groups, or individual devices for updates,
definition of "pilot" stores or devices and staged rollout of updates,
"one-click" and automatic upgrade options,
reporting of installed application versions,
detection and registration of deviations from standard installation images,
supervision of the installation process,
progress tracking and reporting of installations completed with errors.

Software configuration management
The solution enables the management of software configuration parameters, the appearance of POS application screens, and selected data, including:
management of the product image tree of the POS application,
configuration of the POS application’s appearance and behavior,
management of dictionaries (e.g. reasons for returns, cancellations or markdowns),
customization of the receipt header and footer, including graphics printed on receipts,
management of available payment methods, including support for both offline and online voucher authorizations,
management of the cash limit schedules,
user profile management, including individual user configurations,
definition of cashier questionnaires (e.g. related to products, payments, or entire receipts),
screen setups for interactive checkout displays.

Hardware inventory and monitoring
PSM agents installed on cash registers and back-office computers automatically collect hardware parameters of the devices and information about fiscal printers connected to cash registers. They also monitor selected operational parameters. This enables:
automatic generation of hardware configuration reports for monitored computers and fiscal printers,
registration of device serial numbers and tracking of devices across the store network,
inventory of computer parameters, automatic clustering of similar devices, and detection of deviations from standard configurations,
monitoring of the number of daily reports generated by fiscal printers,
ongoing monitoring of device operation,
logging of device-related events and error history,
generation of alerts based on monitored parameters.

System monitoring
The system's monitoring features include application and hardware monitoring, along with issue notifications. They provide capabilities such as:
monitoring of application and system services (active/inactive status),
detection of errors reported by Forcom applications,
monitoring of system load (CPU and RAM usage, temperature),
disk usage and remote share availability monitoring,
monitoring of local database usage and errors,
verification of backup integrity,
notification of warnings or errors via email or SMS.

Data distribution
Supported tasks include:
distribution of advertising materials for price checkers, checkout displays, and digital signage,
distribution of customer surveys,
distribution of promotions,
distribution of supplementary product data (e.g. product images, specific behaviors in the POS system usually not available in central ERP systems),
specialized solutions such as distribution of planograms, floorplans and weather information,
distribution and execution of service scripts,
distribution of information and warning messages to cashiers.
